ABout Laura

Hey, I'm Laura, a UX/UI designer based in Berlin with several years of experience. For nearly two years now, I've been shaping the digital landscape at Capgemini, where I spearhead the development of internal tools for one of the largest logistics companies.

Before my journey with Capgemini, I cut my teeth at CompuGroup Medical, delving deep into the healthcare realm. There, I played a pivotal role in crafting patient management tools for medical practices, clinics, and hospitals.

My roots? Well, they're a colorful tapestry. Born in Berlin, raised between the sunny shores of Tenerife and the vibrant vibe of Mallorca, I grew up in a Russian-speaking household. This linguistic melting pot means I'm fluent in German, English, Spanish, and Russian.

Academically, I hold a Bachelor's in Cultural Studies, focusing on linguistics and social sciences. But my passion for design led me to enroll in an immersive UX/UI boot camp at Ironhack in Berlin. And my thirst for knowledge didn't stop there. In 2022, while diving into my full-time role at Capgemini, I embarked on a parallel journey to earn my Master's in Interaction Design in Barcelona. There, I had the incredible opportunity to learn from industry giants like Irene Pereyra and Anton Reponnen and now I’m expanding my horizons into the world of branding design.

So here I am, not just a UX/UI designer, but a creative soul exploring new frontiers in design with every step.
